Movies, Knitting and A New Computer

I bought a new laptop last night. It's a lovely little HP. 14 inch widescreen and it's mine all mine. No more waiting for Brian to be off the computer. Now I just need him to fix the wireless connection so that we don't have to keep passing the ethernet cord back and forth. Hopefully I can keep up more on my blog.

My Dad is visiting today. I'm excited to see him. We have so much to talk about- grad school and weddings.

I've been watching movies and vegging out this morning. Well, not all that. I wrote a paper for my English class. I've gotten through Crash, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Constant Gardner, and Proof. I finally got Netflix. I didn't want to but that seems like the most cost effective option to see all the movies I haven't had time to see.

I've also been knitting. I turned the heel on the second sock of my first pair. Here's a picture. I think the stripes will line up pretty well. And the first one fits. So I figure the second one will too. Maybe I can finish it today or tomorrow. Who cares about midterms when there's knitting to finish!!!
