Where I've Been
About a month and a half seems to be the pace at which I can handle blogging these days. The house/garden/snail war is stealing my knitting and blogging mojo. I'm still here. Just not as tied to the computer as I used to be which is both good and bad. Anyway, here's some pictures from the last month and a half of so. Enjoy...
In February, there was a book signing and Stitches... Both of which I forgot to take my camera to. Duh!
Me and the fabulous Lauren Groff.
Finger puppets from Malabrigo
Silk Lace from Stitches- Someday I will knit lace...
Miss Babs Sock Yarn in the color Nell. Tapmouse was Nice enough to make sure I got some!
A new KA needle set. They have a swivel join!
In March, we moved. You've seen all that. And I'm trying to repress memories of said chaos.
In April, my little sister came out for my big sister's baby shower.
Big Sis with the tattoo onesie
Little Sis looks on as Big Sis opens gifts
There were cupcakes. Yum!
Then off to Napa to taste some wine. (Not Big Sis, of course!)
That's about it. We ordered furniture. But until it's ready in July, I leave you with a picture of our family room.
They are surprisingly comfortable!

Ha! I went through a brief period of time with Adirondack chairs as my only furniture too. They are comfy with a little cushion on the back. =) Glad to see you're settling in!
Lovely post! I've missed your posts. Adirondack chairs are surprisingly comfy!
How I have missed your yarn porn!:)
Well at least you've had a good couple of months (mind the chaos of moving...). I really want some of those chairs we haven't anything for the backyard right now.
Is it bad that I recognized those as Kara's Cupcakes immediately! We have one in Palo Alto.
Okay, with that out of the way, wow! You have been busy!! Love it when you check in, even if its just once a month!! Miss you!
Yummy lace yarn!
Love the furniture you're using for now until your stuff comes in! Cute.
Nice stash enhancements! You temp living room furniture looks way better then the bean bags and cardboard boxes hubby and I used when we got our first place. :)
Its nice to read what you have been up too, the yarn looks lovely and the cupcakes!
Welcome back!
That yarn is gorgeous!
Also, do those middle cupcakes have Snoballs on them? You know, the marshmellow treat with pink coconut... only with chocolate coconut? YUM!
I love the Muddy Bottom! I got that in Luscious!
Glad to see your back 8)
I think it's a strange coincidence that we both ended up near oceans, love a good wine, have houses that need major decorating help, and developed a love for knitting. Knitting lace is much easier than defeating evil feather wallpaper. I'm jealous you made it to Stitches - but I went to MD sheep & wool, so maybe we're even.
