Just in Time for 100 Degrees

I finished the February Lady Sweater! Too bad it's been over 100 for the past week or so.

February Lady Sweater

Pattern: February Lady Sweater
Yarn: Elann Peruvian Highland Wool
Needles: KP Options, Size 9
Mods: None really. Buttons from Clever Ewe in Ada, MI

FLS Sweater- Buttons

I really LOVE the buttons! Now I just hope that it cools off soon so I can wear it. No modeled shots today. I didn't shower until 7 pm. And I wasn't exactly camera ready!

If you haven't seen Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, rent it now. It's utterly charming. Amy Adams is adorable. And Frances McDormand is fabulous as always. It may be up there in my favorite movies list.

LOVELY sweater - between you and peaknits I'm thinking I need to find some yarn - will Malabrigo work? (going to check on ravelry as soon as i finish my blogreading) Does renting movies count as necessary spending....?

Gorgeous! I know what you mean, the muggy summer came back last week and it was not welcome.

Beautiful yarn and button choice.

And thanks for the heads up on that movie, I failed to add that to my netflix queue when it came out...

I'll go rent the movie, I'm a fan of both actresses. Did you see Frances in Almost Famous? Great performance and movie!

This came out beautiful in the gray. I'm a little jealous.
I assume you liked working with Elann wool. I have never used it.

That is truly beautiful. I wish I could wear stuff like that sometimes, but it is too hot here in Florida most of the time. :(
