The Heat

Everyone says, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity." After today, I have to heartily disagree. Another 100 degree day makes me want to just lay on the couch and drink beer. Luckily, I had nothing better to do today! Although, I should have had Chardonnay. It's a sad day around here. Maybe you never drank his wine. But you've definitely heard of Mondavi.

Sorry for the lack of photos today. But there's nothing too exciting going on. I'm working the next 3 days. So I probably won't talk to you here before then.

Have a great weekend!

I love how our tv weather people totally ignored the humidity factor when telling us how hot it's been.

Hope you keep cool! And best of luck w/all your interviews & end of school!

Try to stay cool! It's not as warm as they originally predicted. It looks like we'll hit 90 today but it will get hotter or at least that's what everyone keeps telling me. :~)

It's a combo, the humidity always makes the heat worse. But what better reason to have some wine....I had a local version last night, but it was at a wedding, and just was lovely to kick back after a performance (I played at the wedding), and relax!

Wow - Mondavi. He died at 94! He had a great life, though. He had a 2 hour massage every day of his life for the past 50 years. His massage therapist lived next door to him.

I know this because I gave him a couple of those 2 hour massages when he visited our hotel in 2000. He had a convention for his company's people and he paid for everyone to get massages (only theirs were the standard 50 minute, of course).

Nice man!
