Moments of Weakness and Moments of Strength
I was so proud of myself earlier this week when I resisted the Yarn Pirate additions to The Loopy Ewe. They had an exclusive colorway called Loopy Groupy that was pink and green and gorgeous. And I hesitated just long enough for it to be sold out. Phew! I dodged a bullet.
But today, there was news that was too exciting to ignore. The Yarn Pirate Booty Club. 3 months, $80. That's a deal by any sock club standards. I clicked the link and voila! I'm in. If you hurry, maybe you can be too.
Unfortunately, this and the recent Palm Pilot purchase have necessitated a destash sale. I'm currently mulling over which of my beauties I can part with. All in all, I need to raise about $300. So get ready, it'll be coming in the next couple of days.

I am so disappointed I'm too cash poor to get in on the booty. But in three months I'll be a lawyer, so look out yarn clubs! :)
Oh boy, you're not alone. I fell too. I resisted the Loopy Groupie color but could not and would not refuse the yarn club. I'm paying mine monthly though. I'm not sure if I'll be able to help you destash. I will if I can, we knitters have to stick together.
I joined too! I've been drooling over your yarn pirate porn posts for awhile...this will be the first time I try her yarn!
I'm being the good one & will resist YP for you all! That and my 3 YP skeins are mocking me from being buried under all my STR.
But darn if Carrie's tempting me with the Woolgirl sock club. The only thing that'll save me is if everyone else takes all the spots first.
I have managed to avoid the sock club so far - but I must say, I was thinking the price was pretty good too. I hope I can help you with a destash since your pile of goodies makes me swoon! Take care!
I'm so glad you got in! I wanted to but then I totally forgot about it. Oh well! : ( I haven't had the chance to try YP yet, but maybe one day!
