Goals Update- Week 17

Let's jump right in...

1. Thin for Thirty- No progress even though I've walked 25 miles this month. I'm stressed with the work/school transition. And food is my friend- especially Mexican food. :)

2. Save Money- Things are good here. On track for going to school.

3. Knit from the Stash- The great stock up is done. I'm really feeling guilty about my stash now. There will be no more purchases for a while. There's no reason to buy more. I have a lovely stash and I need to use it. After all, what good is beautiful yarn if it just sits in a plastic tub in my closet.

4. Grad School- I'm resigning from work a week from Tuesday. I'm really nervous about the conversation I'm going to have with my boss. I hope she'll be supportive. But I realize this puts her in a difficult position and I'm preparing for the worst.

I also got my schedule for the summer. It's going to be an adjustment. Some days are 7-4. Some days are 2-11. Luckily, I got a clinical site near my house. But my in hospital training won't start until July. Thank goodness. Although I've taken many pre-requisite courses, I don't feel prepared to handle actual patients just yet. However, I did cut my finger today while searching for a wayward dpn. With no bandaids in the house, I bound my finger with cotton and duct tape. Nurse MacGyver at your service!

That's about it from here. I got my sock mojo back this weekend. One green Baudelaire done. And I'm on the gusset of my second Moorish Lattice sock. I keep telling myself I can't cast on for my Clapotis until these two socks are done. So far, that's working. But I know myself. I won't hold out for long. The STR heavyweight in Lucy is calling me.

You are going to have a great time in school! It'll be lots of work and test-stressful but think of all the new people you'll meet and how you can teach them all to knit! (Or crochet, like in your dream!)
